Quick question about Halo 2 Single Player (***SPOILERS***)

I'm fighting the Flood right now in the Oracle level (hunting the Heretic), just have a simple question: After these couple of levels, are the Flood still going to show up later in the storyline? If yes, how many more levels are Flood infested?

yes the flood will show up again, I won't spoil it for you but suffice it to say that the flood is now smart enough to control vehicles

They are going to be there throughout the entire game.
