Quick question about Halo 2 multiplayer

Is the only game that guests can join in on Training Ground? Where you get randonmly placed into any game type, with any people....if so, that is absolutely ridiculous. Does everyone on the box have to have their own XBL account to all play on a real ranked game??? WTF!?! We have four guys who live in my apt, and we ALL want to play and we only have one XBL account (because there's only 1 XBOX). Ahh, if this is the case, I hate microsoft...

I loved playing on Gamespy where we could all join and have fun in any game we wanted

yes. only training grounds.
everyone needs a account to play the ranked.
makes sense if you only have one xbl account.

why is it such a problem? it not like if you have one pc 4 people can play in one game. and who cares if you dont have a rank? i mostly play custom games now.

even the ranked games are random too. just start playing custom games online. halo2 clan here has a bunch of people that you can add to your party to play custom ones.
