Hi all

I have an ASUS P8Z68-V motherboard and my EVGA 570 card just showed up, I'm installing it but I noticed that there are 3 slots it would fit in... one blue, one grey, one black.

The bottom one seems to have the words "GPU Boost" along side it, so clearly I'm guessing that's where I should be putting it... problem is, my case has the PSU at the bottom and the fan for the GPU would have very, very little space to blow outward if I put it down there.

I had plugged it into the top (blue) one so far, for maximum air flow. I don't want to put everything away and hook everything back up if this would be a bone-headed move though. So if anyone can give me a quick answer on this that'd be awesome.

I do not have your board but just a couple minutes on google was all that was needed to figure this out. "GPU Boost" is for overclocking the integrated gpu. it appears they just happened to silkscreen "GPU Boost" by the bottom pci-e slot but it has nothing to do with it. it says "USB 3.0" up by the top pci-e 1x slot but surely you know that has nothing to do with that slot.

read your manual and see what slot it tells you to put the card in but its almost always the top pci-e 16x slot.

yea I was looking at the graphics card manual after I posted this, and it does in fact suggest the highest, closest to CPU one. I did figure that it might just be coincidence that GPU Boost was printed at that location. I just like to pursue multiple avenues to finding an answer, and am lazy :)

I appreciate you taking the time to answer. Thanks
