I'm registering a domain and have a quick question:

Now I'm registereing a domain with my current address and phone#. I plan to move in about 6 months, by that time, can I update my domain WHOIS info to the new address anytime I want? Is there any restriction?

BTW, I plan to own this domain for years to come. Do you guys think I should renew it yearly or shoud I buy it for 5yrs or 10yrs? I know it is cheaper but is there any disadvantage for register a domain for 5 or 10 yrs (with godaddy.com)?

It may be cheaper in the future to register.
The company may go out of business.
There may be no more internet. :Q

It isn't a significant difference if you pay for 5 or 10 years. I would just renew annually. I have 2 domains with godaddy.com also. They do a good job (quick and simple).

About changing whois info... simply email them about it, but there shouldn't be any problems changing this. Godaddy.com has a web admin tool for it... I believe... check with them.

If Godaddy goes out of business, they'll have to tranfer the domains to another holding company, like network solutions or open srs
