Is PC2-4200 backwards compatible with PC2-3200? I'm upgrading a laptop that has PC2-3200, but Crucial recommended getting the PC2-4200, even though the laptop says it has PC2-3200. It's a nice price at $145.00 for a gig, rather than their usual $400+.

Also, is Crucial the best brand to get? I'm going for reliability here, not speed so much.
 
Crucial is a reliable brand, as they are owned by Micron, a maker of ram chips. Also, it is backwards compatable so don't worry.
