Hey,

I've actually done a whole bunch of these for my family at this point, running CM7 on the Nooks. When you load say an 8GB micro sd card with a boot sector of CM7 where and how do you put videos/pics/music on the card when all that's available in properties of the card is the boot sector? I even tried to create a folder and put some stuff in their so the CM file manager would view it, but this issue is giving me trouble.

I literally have 110mb of space left on an 8gb card. Where is the rest of my storage space?

open it up in disk management on a pc. maybe it is unallocated space that you need to partition?

Yeah, I just thought of that, but it looks funny, now it looks like 4.5 gigs used? I don't even have that many apps installed yet I don't want to mess stuff up...

If you haven't yet - download a free app named file manager. You can then see all of your folders and what is in each.
