Quick question about Creative + Firewire

Does the firewire in Audigy 2 require you to have existing headers on your board? OR can you just plug it in and it'll give you functionality.

Im asking this becuase the ASUS A8N-E doesn't have firewire.

Great 😛. The reason I opted for the Creative (This is for a friend) is that he didn't want to fill all 3 pci cards:
Sound
Firewire
Modem (yeah, modem)
