Quick question about computer slow downs

I noticed if I alt-tab like 5x or more while playing World of Warcraft that when I tab back into the game, its is insanely slow for the most part. Thing is, my system is as follows and is perfectly fine for the game itself:

P4 3.0 HT
1 Gig crucial pc3200
evga 6600 GT
80 gig 7200 rpm HD

I've ran spybot and such programs and also defragged.

Any idea on what could be causing these slow downs? hate having to keep restarting WoW just cause I wanted to alt-tab to browse the web while I was using a flight path. 😀

That happens to me to. I use a Konfabulator widget to check my available physical memory at all times, and WoW consistently eats up all of it. Sounds like a memory leak to me.

In fact, after a long session, my computer crawls for a while, because apparently it takes a bit for the program to be dumped off the memory and to give back all what it took.
