Quick question about college

Can you get accepted to a good college without taking any AP classes? No AP classes but say you have excellent SAT scores, GPA, etc.

what do you define as a good college? I got accepted into every college I applied for and never took an AP class.

I know this cheerleader who took all the easy classes, got a really good GPA, and did so-so on her SATs. She got into UCLA while a lot of students in AP classes got rejected.

what do you consider a 'good' school?

Boston University, NYU, UCLA, Princeton, Cornell, some degrees like that.

it wouldnt hurt to take AP classes, just to prep you for the workload you might encounter.
just make decent grades either way and do well on your tests.

I only applied to State Schools and had no problem at all. I would just recommend getting some teachers to write recommendations now. Also, talk with your advisor and speak with someone from the schools.

Naturally it will be more difficult... you better have tremendous extracurriculars and SAT scores.... lots of leadership and ~1400+ on the SAT, and I think you will be able to get into schools of the Cornell caliber.

Some high schools don't offer many AP classes (or sometimes none at all)..... so I don't see why not. It probably will hurt you at some of the more competitive schools, though.

I grew up in a small town that didn't offer AP classes. You can still get in to a good school without them.
