quick question about australian TVs

any australians out there?

i need to know if an american Dreamcast will work with an Australian tv...

thanks in advance

it should, but there are a few things to keep in mind..

u need a power convertor, as the US power supply is 90v (i think) while australian is 240V ..

the power plugs may be different (i dun know about this one)..

US is also NTSC video format, and Aussie is PAL.. so you have to make sure ur TV is NTSC compatible, or else u are stuck in black and white...

i think thats it~!

As long as the Dreamcast has a auto switching power supply (I should think it would have one, but check the manual), all you'll need is a plug adaptor (they are different). It'll work with any modern TV set that's NTSC compatible.

Cheers
