Quick question about applying for a job.

I have been an intern at a company for about 2 weeks now, and a full time position just opened up that my manager suggested that I apply for. My question is, should I edit my resume to indicate my internship at the current company, or just leave it off since they should know I currently work for them? Thanks, in advance.

I don't know what is "right," but I would include my current position in the company to make sure my resume is as up to date as possible. Besides, it can't hurt.

edit it. you never know who'll be looking at your resume, and that person might not know you work as an intern.

Edit the resume to show the internship. If the posting is for internal candidates only, the omission of the internship may cause you to be passed over in error.

definetely add it on. for dates, just put the date you started to "current." even 2 weeks time to learn the culture and ropes is an advantage over someone with no experience in the company.

Definitely add it. I think you should always include your current job, particularly when it is relevant to the new job you are applying for (I'm assuming it is in this case).

Add it on. Showing that you're already at the company could help, since you've already got a head start at starting the job.
