Quick question about AGP/PCI lock

I've heard that my motherboard (Asus A8V Deluxe, rev. 1) does not have a working AGP/PCI lock.

That means that if I overclock my CPU via the FSB, then my video card will also become overclocked? I don't quite understand this...

I have overclocked to 2.6GHz before, but not for extended periods of time. Is it safe to continue overclocking if I monitor my video card's temperature?

It doesn't overclock your video card's core, it overclocks the bus. Your GPU's temperature will not increase, but you can destroy your AGP and PCI cards.

Wow... I feel stupid for not learning that before I overclocked. I guess I just got lucky, I won't take my chances with overclocking with this mobo again I guess.

Will it cause any problems if I overclock my video card (through ATI Tool)?

Your PCI uses a 1/6 divider and the AGP uses a 1/3. Since PCI is 33Mhz and AGP is 66Mhz. 200/6 is 33.3333 and 200/3 is 66.6666.
Upping the fsb would increase those values out of spec.
