Quick question about A7N8X and Corsair Value Select RAM

I'm considering getting a single stick of 512MB Corsair Value Select RAM (Module # VS512MB400C3, to be exact) to pair with my new Asus A7N8X motherboard. Are there any known issues/probs with this combination?

As an alternative, I'm also considering forking over the gigabucks for the fancier and Asus-certified CMX512-3200C Corsair module, but I'd rather save the $30 and get the Value Select if I can do so without problems.

I don't do any gaming (nor do I plan to) or overclocking of RAM. Everything's gonna run at stock speed, with stability and longevity being the goals (as opposed to cutting edge performance). I may watch an occasional DVD on this computer, or video clips of news conferences on news Web sites now and again, but that's it as far as motion video.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks very much. :)

I "don't think" you'll have any problems with it. I have run Kingston HyperX, Samsung, and generic ram on both of my A7N8X machines, overclocked and stock speeds.
