Quick Quesion on Mixer

Just bought it last night don'tknow much about it. I'm a noob to the world of DJing. Well my mixer has an effect return and send what exactly do i do with that? Can someone explain that to me. THanks

the effects return and send is basically what it sounds like. the "send" sends the signal post-input (and depending on the mixer, maybe post-EQ, too). you can plug that into an effects unit, like a reverb or a delay or anything you like. then you send the output of the effects unit back to the "return" on your mixer, and now your sound has the effect on it.

kinda make sense?

slightly ot, are you using turntables if so, which ones?

I have digital Turntables, (Cd ones) But I just relized the mixer don't have a fader in ? but the denon's do what should i do? I'm a little bit confused on that?

hold up, do those cd "turntables" just let u play cd's? or do they let u scratch on them? if they just play cd's, return them. unless u wanna be a cdj, and not a real dj
 

Effects send/receive allow you to connect an external device, usually an effects processor, inline with your master output.

Does anyone know what the fader on the back of my Denon S1000's do? It doesn't mention it in the manual. It just says if your mixer has the Fader inputs connect it. But Im not sure what the fader does, if its nessecary i'll go and exchange the mixer i have for a mixer that has the fader in.

They let you scratch on them, they're awesome for the price i got them at. they retail for 400 and cheapest i foudn them on the net was 375 but i got thme for 334 :)
