I would have searched, but didn't want to see any spoilers. Anyway, it's only just starting over here, and wanted to know where all the normal people are (I missed the first half hour).

Where's Tony, Michelle, the President, Kim, etc etc... as I say, I missed the first half hour of the starting episode. After all that Jack did, he basically gets treated like crap by the new CTU boss.

Just wondering what the scenerio or background was to all this.

Just watch the show, and you'll figure everything out. If you didn't want to see any spoilers by searching, you'll certainly be getting spoilers if people tell you what you want to know.

Anno that, but I thought I missed something at the start. Like "5 years later..." or something to that effect. Just seemed odd to have a totally new set of CTU staff, new government etc, ya know?

Don't care about her character ... Kim was eye candy... now all we have is that bone-thin DOD daughter who looks like she's pushing 40. Oh well.. Elisha is hitting the big screen...
