Hi
I am putting in a new MSI K7T Turbo 2 mobo and I have an enermax 350 pws.
the mobo has two connections for the power supply - the 20 pin ATX and a 4 pin 12volt power connector "for the cpu"

Do i connect both, or just 1 of them?

You'd be surprised at what you can find in the manual available at their site. Yes, that's what it's there for.

I have the manual that came with the mobo in my hand.
It doesn't say which is mandatory and which is optional.

Yes, that's what it's there for.

Pretty much sums it up. Some boards have extended logic and so only require the standard ATX connector.
