Quick Q about SLK-800: what are the rubber thingies for?

am i supposed to stick them somewhere? i see 4 little round dots and 2 black sticks. should i put those somewhere? thanks

I don't think you need that stuff if you have a normal AMD CPU with the pads already on it.

Is that a Mercedes? Are the "four little rubber things" round? If so, they're probably the tires....

If the CPU already has pads on it, you won't have to attach anything. DON'T REMOVE THEM!

BTW, what is an ultima solution?

Those are there because the base of the heatsink isn't wide enough to reach the rubber pads on an AMD processor.

The 2 black sticks are attached to the edge of the fan where it rests on the heatsink to deaden vibration for quieter operation.
