Quick PS3 Question

Do you think that the premium PS3 or the core version is better value. I personally think that the chrome finish, wifi and card reader is not worth the $100.

you can add more hd space yourself (wont void warranty), and if you can live without the card reader (useless imo) and wi-fi (i planned on using ethernet anyway - much faster than wireless) and the shiny exterior, its fine.

but i still would get the 60GB version, because thats just me. i like the high-end models the best.

...and the bigger hard drive and the ability to actually play HD videos once they start incorporating the HDCP requirement.

I would never buy a PS3, but if I did, I would get the premium. Mainly because I would need the wifi as my router would be on another floor and I like shiny things. Also, the extra 40gb wouldn't hurt though I could just upgrade it myself.

WTH? Can you go out and get a WiFi adapter for $15 that will turn your 20GB into the 60GB equivalent? Same question about the card reader. Will $10 buy you an integrated one?

if the PS3 cant levitate and solve the rubix cube like it did in the commercial... it aint worth buying.

Is that a PS3 sticky I see up there? Just so that idiots don't start a new thread about something that's been pondered before? I do believe so.
