quick printer advice!

Depends on your needs.
Do you need prints larger than 4x6? Printing without a computer? Speed? Cheap consumables? Portability?

printing with a computer, speed doesn't matter much, looking for quality. portability doesn't matter. prints up to 8x10 in size 😀

Canon i860 uses 4 separate cartridges - regular price is $149

Canon i960 uses 6 separate cartridges - regular price is $199

should be able to get cheaper prices online (prices listed are regular B&M prices)...

I would recommend using canon ink and paper as my luck with generic stuff isn't too good...

Again, another Vote for the Canon i9xxx line of printers.

They KICK ass, and the inks are great quality.

(But it sucks for me, as I bought a Canon S800 two years ago for $300, and then a month later it went down to only $150.)

But still, the best photo printers and a Sh!tload of great features for Digicam buffs.

Canon i9900 - even better but closer to $400

Definitely Canon printers. Don't get those ink hogging HP photo printers. I've been VERY happy with my Canon i810 for the last year.
