Ok guys, I have a PS3, but I rarely ever play it, but rather use it a lot for BD's. I am out to change that. I picked up a fragfx controller(cause I am a keyboard mouse guy) and all I need now is a good FPS. I have fear 2, but I like the ability to play online against other players. I play a lot of CS:Source, L4D, and TF2, just to give you an idea of what I like.

What game do you think I would enjoy the most?

Call of Duty 4/World at War are very popular.

I have really been playing a lot of Battlefield: Bad Company lately, and that is fairly fun.

Pick up Killzone 2 first. SP campaign is so-so, but online is amazing. It starts off slow, but it builds up fast once you unlock new classes. It's like a cross between TF2, CoD4, and it's own Killzone "style".

I'm personally not a big fan of Resistance 2, though many are. I liked the first much better.

Call of Duty 4 is great, but you may want to hold off for Modern Warfare 2.

Thanks for the help guys, I went and got CoD4. It is a lot of fun. I will probably also get CoD MW2 when it comes out.

hope you don't get too disappointed with the results of the Fragfx, it's definitely not as responsive as a true kb/m, but it's the next best thing for your transition into console FPS. As you may know, it's probably similar to the old mouse with a rollerball response.

And when your Fragfx breaks, just take a month to learn to aim with your console controller. Low sensivitiy first, then build up the sensitivity every week. You'll be fine after a few weeks or month.

COD4 is how I learned to play console FPS. I use to consider myself a hardcore PC FPS gamer. Now I don't really ever game on the PC anymore.

If you want to pick up a few cheap games, but still fun, UT3 is usually $10-$15, and 3rd person game of Lost Planet, which is usually under $20. UT3 was intended to be built for consoles anyways, so there's lots of spammy weapons to use.
