Heading to the store soon and I'm out of ketchup. Had Heinz all my life but recently read a review (who reviews ketchup? I want that job) that said Hunts was better overall and that Heinz was too watery. It is kinda watery but I've been ok with it for 23 years so it can't be too bad.

None. Ketchup sucks, and it wouldn't bother me at all if every single bit of it disappeared from the planet. I like the name Heinz better. It's more distinctly German :^)

I don't eat enough ketchup that it matters. I get one or the other, which ever is cheaper.

Store brand. I like ketchup in some food, but not enough that I would buy a 5 gallon jar from Costco.

Either one, no big deal.

Now a real condiment question would be: Hellman's or Kraft?

That's not even a question worth asking. Hellman's or nothing.

That can be shot into space with the ketchup :^P

McDonald's ketchup. Less vinegar taste. Every now and then a non-Heinz ketchup tastes similar, just can't remember which ones. I don't like ketchup enough that I will go out of my way to seek it out, though.

I bet if you killed someone and there was blood everywhere, all you would have to do is shake a bottle of ketchup over the corpse and people would be like "Oh, it's just ketchup" and you'd get away with it.

Heinz >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> *

Even suggesting that another brand of ketchup can taste even remotely close to Heinz is blasphemy. You shall now be drawn and quartered.

As long as it's red and not one of the colors they make to just be different.

I have noticed a distinct difference in texture, between Heinz and Hunts. They do taste different, and I prefer Heinz. Plus Heinz is a Pittsburgh company, and I support local businesses. :)

something is distinctly... un-wordly about you.

I'm a picky eater, but kill me if I can't put some Hellman's mayo and some brand of ketchup on my burgers. And that's all, thank you.
Of course, it can be all the better if the burger has cheddar and bacon mixed in the patty, or feta, or bleu cheese.

All Heinz fans, what's your trick for getting ketchup out of the glass bottle?

I start with a gentle shake, then move to a neck tap. If the ketchup is still not flowing, I'll start smacking the bottom of the bottle.

I'm starting to miss Pittsburgh. I want a Primanti's black angus sandwich, some pierogies, and an Eat 'n Park smiley cookie.

Hunts is more tomato-ish, but good. I think I like them both about equally.
