Quick Pidgin question

So i just installed the latest version of pidgin and i just want to say this program rocks!

Only thing i can't seem to find is, when i use aim or meebo, when a person is typing back it says "John Doe is typing", or "John Doe is replying".

anyway in pidgin to do this?

Pidgin doesn't display it in text (to my knowledge). Instead the person's screen-name glows green and on the top right corner of the conversation box a "Keyboard" graphic shows keys being typed.

That's it.

I haven't fooled around with the program too much though, I just like it for it's clean and sleek interface. There could be a setting to do something to your liking though, perhaps someone else could be of better help. If not, send an e-mail to the developers; they're listening to us more than AOL 😉
