Since my paypal account is tied to my bank account, do I have to transfer funds from my bank to paypal before using paypal to purchase an item, or will paypal extract the funds automatically from my bank?

Thanks.

Awesome. I wasn't sure about it and it was taking forever trying to search for it. That's cool knowing that I don't have to wait a few days if I see something I want to bid on now.

Thanks for the reply!

Paypal will automaticly transfer funds to the person you are buying from, and about 6-8 business days later it will show up on your bank account.

so what's an "e-check" then? I get those sometimes, I don't know how that differs from normal funds from a bank account.

That is payment where paypal waits to have the money in the persons account till they finish the transfer of money. Not sure why people do that tho.
