Quick Paypal Q...

I want to set up a Paypal account because I'll be receiving a payment. It's ~300$, but the personal account says it's free only up to 100$... What do they charge you after that 100$? (or is it impossible to receive such a payment with that account?)

I guess there are some limits in place now, I'm not positive but I thought the amount you can receive w/o any fees was restricted for credit card purchases only, but unlimited on bank transfers? I'm not sure though, try emailing damon@paypal.com if he doesn't show up here first.

Yeah, I think it's only for credit card payments but the one I'm receiving is from a CC...

i think they may block the transaction unless you upgrade to a premier account.

Looking at this chart it doesn't look like you can accept a $300 payment w/o the upgrade.

Personal accounts are limited to 100.00 per month in receiving credit card payments. Users will need to upgrade if they get a payment that puts them over this cap.

I guess the PayPalDamon cleared that up. Just upgrade with the Debit card
