Quick Passover Question

One of my friends is hosting a party during this time and we are wondering what type of alcohol are legal.

I heard that Vodka is fine but am getting contradictory info.

If anyone knows.. can you let me know?

There is vodka that is specifically kosher for passover-I think it's potato vodka, and it tastes terrible.

It really depends on how religious the people attending are-but, as a generic answer, yes, alcohol must be approved for passover.

Dunno any orthodox jews that drink vodka .. but yea it's usually fine.

Believe me, most people wont check regardless .. just hand em some matzah with it :p

you need to get out more :) and, as I said-vodka does technically have to be kosher for passover, it's just a matter of how religious the guests are.

potatoe vodka is kosher for passover, otherwise the only alcohols that are kosher are wines, specifically manischevitz, kedem, carmel or other judaic wines. man. and kedem are available at the grocery store, other wines might be kosher as well, check for a k in a circle w/ a p next to it to tell.
