Quick OC Question,killing a CPU

i wasw just wondering which kills the CPU

does the actual high voltage kill it, or is it the heat from that high voltage kill it?

Both, but in different ways.

Voltage first...but the extra heat doesn't help either.

Yes voltage will definite shorten the lifespan of your cpu, and too much heat will aid it as well.
