quick ntsf and fat 32 question

I currently run win xp with ntsf. Can I pop in a 2nd hard drive with win me and fat 32 and copy files from one hard drive to the other and vise versa? I plan on booting to the disk with win xp installed. Or will it not work?

Thanks

So is my only option to directly network the 2 computers together with cat5 cable and copy the files over that way?
That will still work right?

Thanks for the info Noggin if I boot to the fat 32 disk will it still work of do I have to boot to the ntfs disk? Just curious.

Okay... if you put a FAT drive into a machine and boot to NT/2K/XP, no problem.

If you put a FAT drive in there and boot to DOS/Win9x on the FAT drive, no that OS won't see the NTFS partitions. (handoverfist's argument)

Put the drive in there and boot to XP. That'll work for ya.
