Quick Nextel question

Do I have to have my phone off for it to charge? Or can I leave it on and still have it charge? ( I just got it and have never had a phone before so I'm clueless here)

It won't recharge off of the serial cable adapter though, if you're hooking it to your laptop. Just an FYI.

As for the charging, it depends upon the phone and what connection you're using... be is power adaptor or data cable...

I think that we should put together a list of Nextel PRV IDs... so ppl can DC each other... PM me for mine 🙂

And if you do need help on how to DC, I'll help ya...

I can't reach any of my friends across the country for whatever reason, have they enabled that feature yet? We were told the cross-country would be added this summer.

Its just a separate phone book for dc.. and you hit the dc button. .Easy as pie

Only on the older phones, such as the i1000 and i1000plus are the phonebooks seperate. Nearly all phones now contain PRVT and telephone numbers in the same phonebook record.
