Quick newbie question regarding heatsink

I'm installing a new heatsink on my KK266, I can get the clamp to fit fine on one side, but when I try to press it down and lock it on the other side, the latch hits a good 2-3mm too close to the processor, and I can't get it to go over the lug. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

i also have the KK266 with a taisol CGK760. i'am not sure if all HSF have this feature but if you look at the cloamp for one of the sides, it has a dip where you can insert a flat head screw driver to get better leverage on the clamp. <------don't know if that helped, which i had a picture.

Just be VERY careful when using a sharp tool near the mobo. May people have slipped why pushing down and messed up a nice mobo.
