Quick newbie question about UHF and VHF stuff... (i.e. old TVs)

gopunk

ok so there is an old tv that only has connectors labeled "UHF" and "VHF". are there adapters i can use to play N64 on this, or hook it up to my laptop's svideo to watch dvd's?

thanks!

yes, you can get a VHF adapter to hook up your game stations to them, it must be coax tho, best suggestion if you know nothing on the subject, go to radio shack. (thier expensive, but they should tell you everything you need for your particular system)

i suggest dropping that crap tv and $100 bucks to get something better. i would guess the picture on that looks pretty bad.

hehe, yup, you gotta get a box that converts the uhf or vhf to coax, it can be done.

UHF does not come in on co-ax.

right, i didn't know if it was uhf or vhf so i put both, i knew it was one of them
