looking for a fast reply so i posted here.

is net meeting just for intranet?

or can i connect with anyone over the internet?

i believe it might be only intranet cause i cant seem to connect with people off location.

You can connect to other people on the internet.

Check your firewall settings if you can't connect to people outside of your location.

i turn off firewalls and everything but i always get

user is not accpeting netmeeting calls.
and i get the same thing when people try to connect to me.

DMZ both boxes.
Sure, while your at it, post your IP, and administrative logins.

The basic problem is a firewall issue, either the ports are being blocked by your firewall, or the person's your trying to connect to.

Enjoy.

Netmeeting still lives?

Who knew...
It's been a core system component since W2K. Windows Messenger and MSN Messenger both utilize it for app sharing and whiteboard capabilities.

JoPh, I've experienced that several firewalls don't completely "turn off" when you turn them off, and I need to reboot to clear all port blockage.
