My wife complains I never take her out anywhere, blah blah blah. So we have a babysitter tonight and I planned to take her to dinner then go miniature golfing (she likes mini golf). We rarely go out by ourselves without our 3 year old son. Well, now its raining out and she's asking me what we are doing and being the old fart that I am, I can't think of anything else on short notice. We don't want to see a movie and not into clubbing/dancing. Give me some ideas of what else to do besides dinner! We are both 30 if that matters.

Well, we go skeeballing like once a week when we take my son to Chuck E Cheese, so I don't think she'll go for that. I don't think there are any ice skating places around here open in the summer.

Bowling is still in the lead. We go shopping all the time, thats nothing we couldn't do without the kid anyways. 🙂

I had an inspiration and thought about a comedy club, but there are only 2 around here. The one has Tommy Davidson performing tonight (some guy from In Living Color), but tickets are $22/each and she's not really into stand up as much as me. Plus there are 2 drink minimums and crap, so it ends up being too expensive for something she probably wouldn't be that excited about. I can't find a website for the other club.

Yeah, but taking her out once in a while means I can get away with buying more electronics or computer gadgets without her complaining as much.
