Quick! Need help solving network problem

I installed a small network (4 port hub, 3 Win98 machines & WindowsXP Pro) some months ago. All was going fine until yesterday. Nothing on the network responds. All connections have not been touched and all lights are on the Hub as they should be. What could be wrong - no settings have been changed. I thought setting up a small network was supposed to be relatively simple and trouble-free???

Can anyone offer any simple advice (I'm not by the computers at present) or could anyone provide a link to a network troubleshooting website.

Any help would be most gratefully appreciated.
