Isnt it scientifically proven that women go for masculine men? If so, what is it with this metrosexual thing... Isnt this the opposite of being masculine?

Subconsciously they probably look for masculinity.. but consciously desire sensitive (read: GAY) men.

A dandyish narcissist in love with not only himself, but also his urban lifestyle. Example: The only problem facing the metrosexual in an otherwise carefree existence is the inescapable effects of ageing.

It has nothing to do with being effeminate. And metrosexuals are the good looking men who actually get women. Hot women. Believe it or not, girls don't want geeks who wear knee length jeans, no matter how "masculine" they are.
