Quick memory question

Does it matter if I have two different brands of memory if I want to run a dual-channel memory setup? I have the Abit NF7-S motherboard. Am I fine as long as they are both pc3200 memory and does it matter if the cache-latency is different between the two memories? Right now I have a 512 pc3200 stick of crucial memory and I am thinking about adding another 512 pc3200 stick of Mushkin memory (i think the Mushkin memory has a 2.5 CL as opposed to the Crucial which has a 3.0 CL)?

Cache latency? You mean CAS (Column Adress) latency. The DIMMs must (!) be of the same geometry (single- vs. double-sided) and should (!) be of the same timing. If the latter is not true, you'll be running at the slower DIMM's timing.
