from what people have told me... My Athlon 2400+ has a 266 FSB, and because of that it will not recognize any memory over 2100, that being the reason why i can dual Channel a 2100 and 2700 Stick... is this true?

i assumed since you had the 2400 at 2.4Ghz, that you had bumped your FSB, if not thats a hell of a multiplier
and those people who told you that it wont recognize anything over pc-2100 are flat out wrong. you can run pc-4400 on a 266 FSB if you really wanted it, it just wont take advantage of the extra speed. if you buy 2700, it will just run at 2100 speeds.

Where did you see 2.4Ghz... my sig says 2130Mhz... even though i have it set back to stock now...
As for people telling me it wont recognize it, thats not what i meant, i meant that it would just clock down. But thanks for the help. So you would suggest going ahead and getting the memory?
