Quick memory question for you good folks

Some gave me a free stick of 256 kingston ddr pc 2100. My brother has a dell 4550 that i believe orignally has pc2700 ram. Can i still use the pc2100 in the computer? What will the ramification be? TIA!!!

Yes you can use it. Both sticks will run as DDR133 (PC2100).
