I've had my new MB for a week now, yesterday I had to unplug my comp to reroute some wires, when I plugged it back in I found the BIOS had reset it's self. I'm guessing that would mean a bad CMOS battery, am I right?

Odds are yes, the CMOS battery is toast. Easy and cheap to replace but also check the jumpers while you are in there replacing the battery.
