quick laptop help

Im having trouble removing the "antenna cables" as instructed in my laptop manual. Can someone guide me through this process? Can someone also tell me what are the function of the 'black strips of thin plastic'?

Uh I think you were supposed to take off the mini-PCI cover first, then pop off the antenna cables, then take the top cover off. Then you feed the antenna cables out until the LCD comes off.
