Quick laptop battery question

I am planning on buying an extra battery for my laptop and I got a question.

The battery that came with my laptop is 11.1V, 5400mAH and the one on eBay is 11.1V, 6600mAH. I don't know much about batteries so I asked the seller if this is compatible with my laptop and he confirmed it. I asked why the one he is selling is 6600mAH and he said that's the capacity rating, the 6600mAH battery will last longer than 5400mAH. Is this true? I just wanted to confirm before I place an order. Also, if you know any online stores selling batteries for HP laptops, let me know. Thanks 🙂

he is right. the mAH rating is the capacity rating

try here for the battery. never bought from them but i think they are good

look at my earlier post for this place i remembered selling laptop batteries.

i just checked out the prices and they seem kinda steep... over a hundred bucks...

yeah they are kinda expensive. the one on ebay is $100 for 6600mAH.
