How much do you get for winning? Is there a minimum amount? Is it like $10,000 or something...

If you win you get whatever you have. I didn't see this episode, but if he got it wrong he won $300. If he got it right he won $23,300

I remember a guy won with $1 once, then lost the next episode. So while he could claim to be a Jeopardy winner, he had $1 to show for it. Plus the Government took a cut of that nestegg I'm sure

So if he answers incorrectly, he would win only $300 while the runner ups get $5000 each.

But he also moves on to the next round, where I'm sure the consolation prizes will be higher.

He got it right, ended up with 20 something grand. The $5000 for loosing is only for this "Ultimate" Tournament of champions, where the top 2 winners will be humiliated against Ken Jennings :p
