Quick Indesign Q, first time how to ungroup text after making it outlines?

I'm trying to ungroup a few lines of text after I've converted them to outlines. So I type my text, select it, then go to Type > Create Outlines. The text is outlines. But why I can i not then go to ungroup the text? I just want each word to be able to be dragged around on the page independently of the other. :$
