I never understood that either. I always charged a fix rate. Sometimes I covered the paypal fees and sometimes I didn't. 🙁

It is 2.9% + 30 cents.

I always estimate PayPal as 3% and eBay as 3% (eBay's final value fee is actually tiered, but this is a good rough estimate). 6% fees to recoup in shipping + handling. 😛

Either that's for personal account or they raised the rate. It's 3.5% for my business account w/ them. Nope, I just didn't read it right, it is indeed 2.9% + .30 according to their website and my renewed calculations.
