Quick: How much does a Xeon 1.5 ghz CPU cost?

<< Are there P4 xeons yet? >>

Yes, I have been using one for 2 months now. There are 1.5 GHz, 1.7 GHz, and 2.0 GHz versions as far as I know. Note: the only currently available Xeons are for workstations. That means:
1) The price is much lower than the Xeon for servers will be,
2) The huge excess server cache is not present in workstation Xeons,
3) You are limited to 2 processors per machine (currently many P3 Xeon servers have 4 or 8 processors),
4) Finally for some reason, the vast majority of people here think the 2.0 GHz Xeon was cancelled. The 2.0 GHz Server Xeon was due about now, but was cancelled for a 2.2 GHz Server Xeon version using the Northwood core in Q1 of 2002. The 2.0 GHz Workstation Xeon was never cancelled.

Intel said the 2.0 GHz workstation Xeon should sell at a suggested $615.
