What kind of IRQ conflict?
If you mean many devices sharing one IRQ, then that is completely normal and is part of ACPI and most of the time causes no problems on it's own.

You can disable ACPI with the link below but remember that for some it works and for others it can cause disaster. MS does not recommend it.

I'd keep ACPI. But, if you want to get rid of it, disable ACPI in BIOS and then do a repair install.

Oh geesh not another "i have an irq conflict in Win2k" thread.

There is no such thing as an irq conflict in Win2k.

The following is an excerpt from Microsofts KB Article regarding IRQ sharing in Win2k:

<< In Windows 2000, peripheral component interconnect (PCI) devices can share interrupts (IRQs) by design......It is normal behavior for PCI devices to have IRQs shared among them, especially for Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (APCI) computers with Windows 2000 ACPI support enabled.

In Windows 2000, some or all of the devices on your ACPI motherboard may be listed on the Resources tab in Device Manager as using the same IRQ (IRQ 9). You cannot change the IRQ setting because the setting is unavailable. This occurs because Windows 2000 takes advantage of the ACPI features of the motherboard, including advanced PCI sharing. IRQ 9 is used by the PCI bus for IRQ steering. This feature lets you add more devices without generating IRQ conflicts.
