Quick help with Klipsch 2.1's

I've had these put away for about 8 months and I finally got them out and fired them up. They sound great, but I have a small problem. How does one go about turning them off? The switch is on the back of the sub, which isn't a problem for me but will be for my parents. How do I turn the speakers off without crawling under my desk every time I shut down? Don't laugh at me.

Can I leave them on all the time? While the computer is off and not giving them anything they shouldn't use any power, right? That LED on the front isn't going to run up the electric bill I would think. It just seems like they would put an off switch on the control pod.

i don't have klipsch speakers but i think i read in a review that they go into a power-save (essentially power off) when they're not in use for a while. bump for others who might know for sure.
