I think I want a palm (Tungsten E is recomended by my company). One of tasks it'll need to do is read spreadsheet data. What I plan on doing is creating a spreadsheet with Excel 2000 and "uploading" it to the palm for referencing away from the office.

Can it? (I hope?)

Should not be a problem. If you want some advanced excel options on the palm, you can try the "Documents-to-go"
product by Dataviz

**Edit ** Looks like they INCLUDE Documents to go ver.6 with the Tungsten line.

Because my company is trying to standardize hardware in the various locations, and Tungsten E is the chosen one for handhelds.
