I'm not up on AMD CPU's or upgrade ability there, but number 2 seems to have the best goodies for what it is to me.

I hate seeing CX PSU's, but maybe that's a personal thing here.

If your planning on upgrading in the future have you not considered building one from scratch then ?

I'm sure you'll get many more responses soon.

IF i had to choose between those 3 systems, i'd take number 2. Decent CPU, although not as fast as Intel's offerings. And it has the best video card hands down of the 3.

That first system doesn't even have a gaming class video card, just an entry-level card.

@mongrel
i have thought about building one from scratch but the build seems to get fairly high in price and out of my price range. i don't have any friends or anything that are into computers. i would have to build it myself and i have no clue how.

Overall, #2 is clearly the best bang for the money. High quality components, including a nice case, mechanical keyboard and a monitor.

However, the AMD FX-8320 processor is considerably slower than the Intel i7-3770k.

 Agree. #2 is the best all-around gaming PC. However, for the games that the OP is interested in, the 290X is overkill, so he might appreciate the cooler running PC #3.

Okay guys how about this options
Intel core i7 4770k

-MSI 797 gaming 7 motherboard

-8 gigabytes Kingston hyperx fury black edition 1866 (2x4gb)

-MSI Gtx 970 golden edition

-Seagate 1tb hard drive

-Thermaltake tr2 700 watt psu

-corsair h60 cpu cooler

-corsair c70 military green case

-windows 7 os

-razer black widow ultimate Battlefield 4 edition

-Logitech g600 mouse

-Benq gl2460hm 2ms delay monitor

He is asking $1400 but I'm trying for $1200 my budget limit.

Not worth it over the other options.

Lol option 2 isn't available anymore. would option 3 really be a good buy though? i want to play with out lag on high or ultra settings. I don't know anything about the hardware sorry for all the questions

i always buy a cheaper computer and I'm sick of long loading screens and lag when teleporting/using portals.

That new computer option you gave us is not worth the money. Way too much for what it offers. Keep looking! 🙂

The 3rd option above is a good machine, and definitely a better value than your 4th option.

3 isn't bad at all, I still have an ASUS R9 280X DCII TOP in my main rig I guess.

Like I said earlier, I'm just not familiar with AMD CPU's these days, I prefer Intel myself.

But I'm still running an old X5680 in it atm 🙂

Not that I'm complaining.

no to the $1200 build
yes to #2

HiS R9 290X GPU

2TB 7200rpm HDD
120 GB Kingston SSD
750w Corsair CX PSU
Corsair H100 Liquid cooler

Windows 7 64 bit OS

all these components can be reused and will likely last 3+ years.

okay, I'm slightly looking at waiting a little bit and building from scratch. I've found someone that would assemble it for me for 100$ these are the guts i have in mind. let me know your thoughts and and advice or suggestions PLEASE.

Parts List-
CPU-Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)
GPU-MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V
Motherboard-Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
HDD-Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB
SSD-Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB
Case-NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower
PSU-EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular

depends on what your paying over all I guess.

I've never used that case so I do not know, but I think I have heard good things in the past.

As far as a PSU, I'd recommend looking at some Seasonics myself.

I actually like Antecs, but a lot of those are Seasonic or Delta builds.

I'm not really familiar with that one but it looks pretty nice to me.

The Antec I used for my last personal build on sale does't exist anymore I think.

Unless you find one on the side somewhere.

Just on a side note, I personally used one of these for a case on the HTPC in the bedroom.

Not overly fancy, some don't like the looks.

I think it's a pretty nice little case though, for the money.

Lots of room even in that little guy.

But is a very basic case.

You haven't listed if you're going to OC any at all I imagine not.

Some of the things you listed earlier had AIO water coolers.

I'd recommend something like an Evo 212 at least or just I imagine the one come with the chip is good with stock.

I still prefer a good air cooler over AIO myself unless your getting serious, they are less trouble and a decent one works as well unless you're trhying to go way up in OC's.

If your running stock speeds anyways, the Intel one that comes with it should be fine.

An EVO 212 would be ice to have on it though if you if you want to play with OCing in the future though.

And I guess that is way more than my two cents 🙂
