quick guys. brown belts and shoes with a blue navy suit OK?

blarg. Wear that to get laughed at. Clash of colors my man...I'm a guy and i know that much.

Navy and brown are perfectly acceptable. Pay no mind to them.
Just don't wear black and brown.
Navy and black are kind of awkward, actually.

For those of you who say Navy/brown would not work:
Assume an outfit of Navy blazer and khakis. What shoes do you wear? Black? Hell no!

No, the only proper shoe choice to wear with a navy blazer and khakis is white sneakers, or maybe red ski boots if you're going for something trendsetting.

Never wear brown shoes or belts with navy, black or grey suits. Only wear brown with brown, olive and of course, bright orange suits.

id wear black most of the time... but i don't see anything wrong as long as you're not talking about brown that's so bright it sticks out. anyway... it's all in how you pull it off i guess... and if you're so bored with black. 😀

I like blue and brown - they match perfectly 🙂

Yea, for jeans and stuff. You don't wear it with suits though. For navy suits, its black. Burgundy is also acceptable, but I personally don't like it for the younger (10-20) generations.

What are you wearing the suit for? An interview? What kind of job?

thanks fashion police AKA ATOT dwellers. Went with black but us color blind guys have a good excuse for this and I'm surprised nobody has commented on my incoherent blabber on the first bost
