250 watt ATX case, BH6 w/ 300A cpu
64 megs PC-100
15 gig WD hardrive
15" monitor (whatever brand...)
Savage 3d vidcard
32X cd-rom
floopy, crappy sound card, crappy speakers, keyboard/mouse

I mean basically this is a fully functional computer...just not the fastest CPU is all :)

15" monitor (whatever brand...)(65)
Savage 3d vidcard(20)
32X cd-rom(20)

Perhaps if you had more info on the parts...what brand pc100 ram, case, how many rpm is the hd, udma 66/100 etc, what kinda 15" monitor, how many mb is the savage 3d card(8?), what company cd-rom etc, I'd proboly say its worth more...(Keep it as a crackin machine :))

I would agree with Genocide. I have basically the same system on consignment at a local store for $600. Though I don't have a monitor with it, I have a Creative 512 sound card, Epox MVG3 mb with an AMD 400 cpu.

Yeah, 600-700 is about right if you were to sell it localy, but if you were to sell it on AnandTech, plan on getting around what I said for it :(

Hmm, well I'm selling it to my girlfriend's friend and I'll be throwing in some software. Without the monitor I was gonna go for about $350 or so, with monitor about $400, only because thats what it would cost approximately if I built it myself. I suppose if she doesn't want it I'll sell it to somebody else through the paper and try and get as much as possible for it :)

Kinda sad really its been with us so long - whenever I upgrade she gets the spare parts; its just that we really don't need two comps in the same room and I kind of want the cash for a PS2, so this will have to go !

That 300a won't do 450 on a BH6??? Damn. You must be one of the 5% who got a bum chip :(

But, I think that 400-425 USD would be accurate.

It really depends on who you'll be selling it to. To a gamer - it's not worth much. To someone who'll be doing everything but gaming - it'll be more valuable IMO.

It does 450 with my custom heatsink (basically a PII heatsink and the cpu just "hangs" in the mobo) - but with a stock celeron heatsink it won't do it without a house-fan on it, and since I'm going to be sticking a real heatsink on it (because it falls out if moved), I'll just clock it back down to 300 for this person...
